The timber mill in Bombala apparently produces 200 tonnes of sawdust per day and has purchased the biomass boiler to reduce reliance on a gas boiler, therefore reducing the operating cost.

According to the Dongwha Australia website, it has a factory in Bombala and plenty of wood resources. Its new sawmill was built (in 2013) on government subsidies to boost its role in improving the regional economy.
